Gail collaborates with talented people all the time, check out her radio show “The JazPel Journey” on www.111eastpraise.com. Her performances are hott & getting better all the time. She just returned from The 2011 Smooth Jazz Cruise with great reception in The Piano Bar. Last fall, she lit up the stage at Jazz Trak Festival in Catalina with Jazz in Pink , featuring Althea Rene, Club Anthology in San Diego, and the famed Riverside Jazz Festival. Gail and her band “3 Piece Suit” celebrated her Birthday Bash at Spaghetiini in Seal Beach, CA to standing ovation; what a night to remember!

She’s looking forward to the release of the 2nd single, sure to be chart buster -“Cruisin After Dark”, from the newly released CD “HerStory” on 111 East Jazz Records. You don’t want to sleep on this great recording featuring Detroit trumpeter Lin Rountree.

Gail scored the music for the gospel stage play by Charlia Boyer “Overcome, Overjoyed” at the North Hollywood Performing Arts Center; showing March 4, 5 ,6, 2011. Along with Jazz in Pink, with Karen Briggs, she has a jazz performance in St. Lucia, then she’s back on tour with Norman Brown & Richard Elliott for the summer. Ms. Jhonson always finds time give back, in February she performed for the Starlight Jazz Serenade sponsored by Hands For Hope, an after school/single parent program. Her current single “Do Something Else” downloads a portion of the proceeds to benefit the “Do Foundation” to help the homeless in Detroit.
