2009 brought many rewarding experiences! Some of the highlights were being a featured artist on one of the hottest tours-Summer Storm with Eric Darius, Patti Austin, hosted by Norman Brown.  Art Goods’ Catalina Jazz Festival was awesome! And traveling to South Africa to perform, getting local TV/cable coverage and meeting jazz giant Hugh Masekela was a real treat! Smooth Jazz News has been instrumental in spreading the word about me, both as a side-woman and artist.  I was also co-host on LA Jazz TV with my band “3 Piece Suit”.  At the end of the year Prvcy Wear produced a CD “United We Cure”. The CD included several smooth jazz all-stars including Lalah Hathaway, Brian Culbertson, Kindred Family & Will Downing.

Already 2010 has kicked off with a standing ovation performance with JaZz in P!nk (all-star female ensemble of musicians/vocalists).  Our new single
release “Got to Be True” is available now.  New late-night TV show-The
Motown Maurice Show had me on as a guest alongside Tommy Ford (known as Tommy from the TV sitcom “Martin”).  The latest nomination of "Best Jazz Musician" by the American Black Music Awards and an invitation to be featured again on this year's Summer Storm with Phil Perry, Brenda Russell & Jessy J are both honors! A special treat will be a one-night performance at Ashford & Simpson's club “The Sugar Bar” in NYC!

So this year is starting out to be a fantastic one.  I've received so many
notes of congratulations and “keep it movin' girl” accolades.  I've made so many new friends and fans and met industry personnel; all with the help of a very special team of people that are diligent is seeing me succeed. Without their love and support, this would not be possible. Listen out for new music and check back for performance updates!
